The Dunlap Eagles Football team are set for the Playoffs after an impressive 8-1 season. Last time the Eagles had that successful of a regular season was 2017 when they lost in the Class 6A State Championship game to Phillips (Chicago). Dunlap would finish the season 13-1. The Eagles will play against the 20th seed Nazareth Academy. Don't let the seeding and 5-5 record fool you. East Peoria has a new varsity girls basketball coach. Paris Gulley will take over at East Peoria as he replaces Adam Binger. In four seasons, Binger went 28-59 and 3-53 in the Mid-Illini. Gulley played division one basketball at Wisconsin-Milwaukee and averaged 14 points per game his senior year.
