Everyone knows Bri Harms can score at will. Now, she’s at the top of the list at Roanoke-Benson. In the 61-47 win against Dwight, Bri Harms was 18 points away from the record, she scored 34. I talked to Bri about her historic night. “It just seems surreal. I never dreamed of holding this record since defense has always been my strongest part of my game. The fact this record has been around for 59 years is amazing. It is an honor to be able to represent my school in this way! I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team, coaches, and entire community.”
The postseason is rapidly approaching. Bri doesn’t want her season to end. She talks about what Roanoke-Benson has to do to keep winning games.. “To keep playing how we are playing right now with defense to speed teams up and utilize the posts. Goal is to make a run at state.”
Her high school career is almost over. Bri talks about her favorite part of playing at Roanoke-Benson. “Being such a small school with all the outpouring support of the entire community. Everyone is invested and comes to cheer us on.”
Bri Harms career at Roanoke-Benson is one of the best of all time. She looks to add another trophy to her resume before it’s all said and done.
