Kaydin Quinn commits to Lincoln Land
Abingdon-Avon’s Kaydin Quinn has committed to Lincoln Land, a Junior College that went to nationals last season, and competes at a high level.
Kaydin talks about why she chose Lincoln Land. What made you choose Lincoln Land?
“Coach Jones and Coach Albert's warm welcome really stood out to me. From the moment I walked in, I felt like part of the family, and it was clear they were invested in my well-being and success. I knew right then that I'd found my next home.”
Kaydin has unfinished business. After multiple successful seasons, there’s just one thing that would complete her career. “The ultimate goal is to win a state championship. We have been chasing that dream since day 1, we have fallen short but I believe we have a chance this year. No better way to go out than make A-Town history and have a state championship trophy!”
A-Town is a small community that loves sports, and always packs the gym.
“I truly love it, those are the moments you'll always treasure. It's every child's dream come true. As I looked into the stands before running out onto the court for the super sectional game, I saw our crowd filling the entire gym, a sea of green, yellow, and black. a sight that's beyond words. In the end, I wouldn't wish it away! As an athlete, seeing the whole community show up for you is the best feeling.”
Kaydin is looking to help state ranked A-Town to more success in her senior year.
