Washington High School Girls Basketball Coach Steps Down

After winning the state title, Coach Kim Barth has stepped down to focus on family. In 10 season as the coach of Washington, Barth had a record of 247-63, winning six regional championship, two sectional championships, four Mid Illini Conference Championships, and Washington's first ever state championship. Coach Barth ends the 10 year tenure at Washington on top of the state with a state championship.

Washington will now search for a new head coach to lead the defending class 3A state champs next season.
