East Peoria Hires New Basketball Coach

East Peoria has a new varsity girls basketball coach. Paris Gulley will take over at East Peoria as he replaces Adam Binger. In four seasons, Binger went 28-59 and 3-53 in the Mid-Illini.

Gulley played division one basketball at Wisconsin-Milwaukee and averaged 14 points per game his senior year. This is his first high school coaching job, but he has a lot of knowledge on the game of basketball. His daughter, Amiyah Gulley plays on Dunlap and is one of the best players in the state. It is not clear if Amiyah will be joining her dad at East Peoria.

East Peoria are scheduled to open the season at the Fairbury Prairie Central Tip-Off Tournament on Monday, November 16th.
