At the start of the season the Knights started off to a slow start with a 3-4 record. Now they are contending for the conference championship. Here's how it happened. The first four losses of the season were from state ranked teams. After the slow start they went on a 9 game winning streak heading into the state farm classic where they lost to Quincy. In the State Farm Classic they crushed state ranked Hyde Park. In the last 13 games the Knight have gone 12-1. They still have some tough games on the schedule as they face the Lions from Peoria High, undefeated Loyola Academy, Washington, East Moline United, along with Peoria Notre Dame. Senior guard Kamryn Heider has been the core of this team. She has been consistent throughout the year and has had a bigger role since her former teammate Lexi Baer transferred to Peoria Notre Dame. Under 1st year head coach Shamar Hill the Knights have had a pretty successful year so far and look to continue that success in the postseason.
