As we cross the PSML season’s half way mark. Let's take a look at who is in the conversation for this years most valuable player.
Ethan Hurst Tin Lizard Titans
The Lincoln Land infielder has had quite the summer at the plate. He has a batting average of .467 with league leading 21 hits, two home runs, twelve RBI's with five stolen bases. Ethan has been productive at the plate and in the field for the Titans this year and is in the running for MVP.
Brady Brecklin Pour Bros Jacks
The former ICC shortstop has been a dependable hitter in the PSML with a batting average of .413 and has 10 RBI's on the season. Brady's best day at the plate was on June 3rd when he went 3-3 with three RBI's including a home run. Brady's contributions at the plate has helped the Pour Bros Jacks be a top contender for the playoffs.
Eric Campen Brienzo's Orioles
Eric Campen has is a hitting machine. Ever since he went 0-2 on opening week against the Miller Lite Falcons, the Monmouth College Sophomore has gotten a hit in every single game. He's batting .395 with five RBI's and six stolen bases and 2 homers.
Justin Fletcher Miller Lite Falcons
Justin Fletcher gets hits. The former NIU Husky is leading the league in batting average with an impressive .467 batting average. On June 30th against the Tin Lizard Titans he went four for six and was very reliable at the plate.
Keegan Busby Crusens Reds
Busby, the Illinois College commit, has been an offensive weapon for the Reds this season. With a batting average of .342 and two home runs with eight RBI's, you can tell that he is in the race for MVP conversations this year. He's also been on the mound twice this year with an ERA of 4.67.
Noah Company MoveSmart Mariners
The two-way extraordinaire and Eureka College commit, Company has the third best batting average in the league this year. With a batting average of .448 and four RBI's with five stolen bases this season. Noah has the stats to back it up on why he's being considered the MVP of the league.
Ben Kelly Firehouse Pizza Expos
The Grinnell College Pioneer, Kelly has been leading the Expos offense and hasn't been talked about around the league enough. With the team struggling, Ben has still put up some great numbers. He has a batting average of .407 on the season and has driven in six runs. Ben is in the MVP conversation as he leads the Firehouse Expos in a lot of batting categories.
