PND's Lexi Baer

PND’s next division one commit will be Lexi Baer. She has several offers and has a big decision to make. I talked to her about Boo Camp, her recruiting process, and her upcoming high school season. 

How was it to coach at Boo Camp?

“I love coaching! I think it’s a lot of fun! I really enjoy meeting all the upcoming players and being able to make connections with them as well. It’s great being able to help those younger than me develop their skills and make basketball fun for them! I also love playing against the other coaches I’m friends with it makes things competitive and a lot of fun as well.” 

You won the state championship last year. How does the team feel trying to go back to back?

“I think that it’s a goal that we all have in the back of our heads for sure. But something big with our team is to focus on the now. We all know we want to make it back, but there’s a lot of preparation we have to focus on before any of that.”

You have quite a few offers. How has the recruiting process been going? “It’s been going good! I enjoy the process! I love talking to new coaches and building relationships with all of the ones I am already talking to. It’s a great experience.”

Lexi has a big decision coming up as she will be the next division one commit for the PND Lady Irish.
