IVC Regional Preview

The Class 2A Girls basketball regionals are tomorrow. Here's what to know for the IVC regional.

Teams

The teams in the IVC regional consist of four teams. The number one team in class 2A Peoria Notre Dame. The Irish have the number one seed and have a record of 27-4. They have not lost a game to a class 2A team this year. They are led by senior guard Mya Wardle.

Kewanee

Kewanee has the number nine seed and will play Peoria Notre Dame. They have a record of 11-17. They had to beat Farmington to move on to the regional semifinals to play PND.

IVC

The host team of this regional. The lady Grey Ghosts have a record of 18-14. They beat Orion 45-30 and will now play the number four seed Sherrard.

Sherrard

Sherrard has the number four seed in the tournament. They come into the regional with a record of 16-12. They have beaten one of the teams in the regional before. Early in the season in a tournament they beat IVC 43-22.
