Illini Bluffs Pitcher Josh Vaughn Throws A Perfect Game

Illini Bluffs Senior Pitcher Josh Vaughn accomplished quite the feat today. He finished the game striking out all 21 batters that he faced during his perfect game in the 1-0 win over Peoria Christian.

I talked to Josh after the game and asked him how he felt. "Before the game I was talking to my catcher Brendan Bacon and he said "21 strikeout perfect game" after hearing that it motivated me. I started warming up and had a good feeling which I carried into the game."

Josh also talked about the teams end goal for the season. "Work together to be the best we can and get as far as possible." Illini Bluffs improves to 12-5 on the season after the 1-0 victory over Peoria Christian.
