Peoria Heights girls basketball team have had an impressive season, now they can call it a historic season. After last nights 53-48 win over North Fulton, the Lady Patriots secured win number 23 on the season which is now a school record. I got to talk to senior Emily Dana on how it feels to make history.

"My team and I were very excited after the game on beating the record. We were more excited that we stayed strong throughout the game with being in deep foul trouble, and still managing to get the win."

That win wasn't just the only history made in Peoria Heights. Junior Nyaja Russell ahd 28 points and set a school record 16/17 free throws.

The Lady Patriots are 23-6 on the year and have one more regular season game this Thursday for senior night against Henry-Senachwine.
