PND 8 Heyworth 1 DH

Lawson Alwan had himself a day at the plate going 2-3 with a homerun. He had 3 RBI’s.

Mickels 2-3 3 RBI’s


Dunlap 6 Civic Memorial 2 Metro East Kickoff Classic

Piper 4 innings 1 hit 1 walk 8 strikeouts 


Dunlap 10 Mt. Vernon 9 Metro East Kickoff Classic

Newton 3-3 HR 2 RBI’s 

Dunlap came back from this game. Down 5-1 in the 2nd inning they scored 6th in the bottom of the 2nd. The Eagles are 4-0 on the season. 


Williamsfield 10 Canton 24 DH

Canton opened up the game with a 14 run 3rd inning 

VanHouten 1-2 4 RBI’s


Willliamsfield 4 Canton 7 DH Game 2

Lowe SP 4 innings 2 hits 0 runs 1 walk 5 strikeouts 

Canton moves to 3-0 on the season.



East Peoria 15 Farmington 1 DH 5 innings 

Duncheon 2-2 HR 4 RBI’s



East Peoria 13 Farmington 2 DH Game 2

Tolliver 2-3 4 RBI’s 

Krutke in relief went 3 innings 2 hits 0 runs 0 walks 5 strikeouts. East Peoria starts the season at 3-0. 


Limestone 5 Bloomington Central Catholic 11

Limestone’s Beinneman and Sprout went 2-4 at the plate each getting an RBI. They couldn’t get the job done as Bloomington Central Catholic scored 11 runs on 9 hits. 


LaSalle-Peru 13 Pekin 8

Busby homered to left field in the 1st inning. La-Salle Peru took the lead in the 4th inning and never looked back. Pekin scored 4 in the 7th inning but couldn’t complete the comeback. 


Washington 10 Salem 0 5 innings  Metro East Kickoff Classic

Lawrence went 2-2 with an RBI. Burke got the win going 3 innings giving up just 1 hit, walking 1, and striking out 4. 


Bradley-Bourbonnais 7 Washington 17 5 innings  Metro East Kickoff Classic

Griswold 3 run home run 


Peoria Heights 3 Marquette 12 6 innings 

Williams had himself a day going 3-4 at the plate in the loss. 





Peoria Heights 6 Triopia 4

Martin went 2-3 at the plate in this one. Ahart had a bases clearing triple in the 6th to take a 5-3 lead. He then scored on a wild pitch to make it a 6-3 lead. Peoria Heights had a 5 run 6th inning. Ahart went 2-3 with a triple and collected 3 RBI’s. Finley Heath pitched well for the Patriots. He went 6.1 innings giving up 4 hits, 1 earned run, 3 walks, and striking out 9.
