Dunlap Lady Eagles Playing Basketball This Summer

The Dunlap Lady Eagles are playing in the 2nd annual Windmill City Weekend Shootout in June. This event is played at Batavia High School and Geneva High School. It contains a field of 72 teams. Some of the teams worth noting that have been committed include Alton, Class 3A State champs Lincoln, Class 4A State champs Nazareth Academy, and also includes some local teams such as Peoria Notre Dame, Canton, Washington, and Metamora. A lot of college coaches will be in attendance watching the games and the players will get great exposure for offers. The schedule has not come out yet so Dunlap does not know who they are playing. It will be a great experience for them this summer. 

This is also a good event to see what this Dunlap team will look like for the season. They've lost a few seniors that were in the starting lineup so it will be interesting to see what the Eagles look like.
