Here are my seven players I chose for preseason first team.

PND Lexi Baer

A three point sharpshooter who helped the Irish win the class 2A state title is back and she looks like she's even better than last year. Last season she broke the Irish three point record.

East Peoria Kylie Moeller

The McKendree basketball commit who averaged 15 points per game for the Lady Raiders returns for her senior season. Kylie is a crafty guard who is a pure offensive threat.

Deer Creek Mackinaw Dalia DeJesus

Dalia averaged 17 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.9 steals, and 2.3 blocks per game shooting 50% from the field. Dalia was a key part of Dee Mack's historic season. Look for Dalia to be loud in the box scores as she continues reek havoc for opponents.

Metamora Alivia Vaughan

Liv is Metamora's point guard who can score, rebound, and flat out ball. Whoever plays Metamora this season will have to watch Liv at all times because she can turn a game around in a flip of a switch.

Washington Avery Tibbs

Washington could have a lot of players on this list but Avery sticks out because you have to watch her all night. A pain in the neck to guard because if you give her space, she has been proven to be lethal. Washington will be a fun squad to watch with Avery leading the way.

Canton Allison Wheeler

Allison averaged 12.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game for the Little Giants last season. The University of Illinois-Springfield commit will be a player to watch for Canton.

Peoria Notre Dame Emy Wardle

Emy shined on IHSA's biggest stage last year hitting the game winning shot to win the state championship. The sophomore is back on a dangerous Peoria Notre Dame team that will look to have another great season.
