Mack Sutter is getting recognition. He was just ranked as the number one Tight End in the state of Illinois and the number 6 Tight End in the nation. He has 18 division one offers as only a sophomore.
I asked Mack if he was going to any camps at all. Here was his response.
"I won't be attending any camps this spring. I am just going to be focusing on training and visiting schools. I also play 7 v 7 for the Midwest Boom out of Chicago."
Mack talks about how his recruiting process has been. "It has been a blast, I am just trying to take it all in because I know it goes by quick and not everyone gets this experience and I am super thankful to be in this situation."
Mack is a part of a very athletic family. His father Ed Sutter played five seasons in the NFL as a linebacker. Mack's Sister Lilly plays soccer at Lindenwood University. His other older sister Elle is a two sport athlete in college who got 1st team all conference in both soccer and basketball. The Sutter's are also cousins to the athletic Mangieri family. Mack talks about how his family has helped in this journey. "They have helped me a ton and remind me to always be humble and grateful for everything I have because it could be taken away any second. I have also learned throughout my journey that not everyone is gonna like me, but all I can do is keep working and staying humble."
Dunlap Football will have a little more excitement next season with a nationally ranked player. Mack looks to keep having a successful high school career and continuing to enjoy the moment.
